I can’t climb the mountain so I think I will find a way to jump over it. A 160-meter story
Let me start by saying I have a great group of friends who are also Ham Radio operators. They have all helped me and inspired me in so many ways that I do not even think they realize and I should tell them all as often as I can because they really do mean a lot to me and have made a big difference in my life in so many ways. I also am very lucky to have the most understanding XYL on the planet who tags along with me on all my crazy adventures and helps me do all these things that I dream up and never runs for the hills.
Code Buddies in the Park - Testing a Buddipole Antenna for 6 Meters
Tim (KC1QDK), Steve (NA1T), and Bob (AA1TX) gathered in the park for a field day to set up a CW station and test a Buddipole antenna for the 6-meter band. They quickly tuned the antenna and made successful contacts. However, they had to end the session abruptly due to approaching lightning.
SYP - Hunting CW in the Park
Thank you all for coming to the summer code buddy POTA CW hunt. We have all been meeting together and practicing our code diligently, so it was nice to see us get out into the field and make some contacts. This get-together reminded me how much we can accomplish together and learn from each other.
