What’s In Your POTA Kit
When it comes to Parks on the Air, we all have our own unique setup for activation. Some prefer a minimalist approach with a small and light pack, while others prefer to bring everything and spend the whole day at the park. And if you're new to POTA, you may wonder where to begin. So look no further we have gathered the best examples of POTA setups to hopefully inspire and get you thinking about building your next Go bag.

This makes up the primary items I need for an activation. I carry other "extra" items to make things easier for myself or to fill another need. One example being the extra 50' of coax that is typically not used, but should the 15' of RG-316 not be enough then at least I have the coax to still get on air. The tankara fishing rod that is used as a 7m mast is also not usually needed, but very handy if it is. The whole bag loaded with extras included is around 25lbs.
