N1OG POTA Bag
This makes up the primary items I need for an activation. I carry other "extra" items to make things easier for myself or to fill another need. One example being the extra 50' of coax that is typically not used, but should the 15' of RG-316 not be enough then at least I have the coax to still get on air. The tankara fishing rod that is used as a 7m mast is also not usually needed, but very handy if it is. The whole bag loaded with extras included is around 25lbs.

would say bring enough stuff to make yourself comfortable and get ready to speak with people who come across you operating in a park. POTA is a great way to open a dialog with people and invite them to try to get their license. When I am out in the public I try to be a good steward of the hobby by being open to answering questions and compliant with all the rules in the park.
AC1RH - POTA Kit
I have a portable setup that allows me to communicate on a wide range of frequencies, from 80 meters to 6 meters, at a power output of 100 watts. With the use of a Bioenno 12V 30Ah battery, this setup can operate for approximately 4-5 hours, depending on usage.

The small teal bag holds my EFHW and all supporting equipment. The red bag is a Weaver arborist throw line and 12oz throw bag. I have repurposed a backpack that I already owned for my needs. It is spacious enough to hold a Helinox table on top, two Helinox chairs in the side pouches, and a maxpedition pouch in the front compartment which has a battery bank for charging my phone and iPad.
N1JUR - Beach Kit
My family and I love spending time at the beach during the summer. However, I often get bored within the first 30 minutes and wish I had a small portable radio, similar to what I would use at a local park.
N1JUR - POTA Bag
I have had a few different bags for carrying my gear on activations. I started with an Oakley Extractor Sling bag, but it wasn't big enough to hold all my recording equipment and additional gear. I needed more storage space, so I researched and ultimately decided on the Tennba Axis 32l Bag. It has plenty of room for my radios, batteries, camera recording stands, gear, and cameras. The interior dividers are adjustable, which makes it easy to organize and store delicate electronics. I also love storing my iPad and Surface 7 Pro in the front pouch without worrying about them getting damaged. The bag has several zipper pockets and side storage, perfect for my needs.
