First Licensed in 1961 as WV2SXE (63 years). Currently hold extra class license

What mode(s) within Amateur Radio do you enjoy operating?

I am currently working on adding digital modes to my home shack. I am active on CW, SSB, and FM on the 160 to 70cm bands. I recently added an FT-2000 for the 160-6meters. I aim to make at least one CW contact per day. So far, I have worked over 300 countries using CW and SSB.

Describe your involvement with GSARA.

Monthly Net Control Operator for the GSARA 10-meter net on 28485 MHz. 2nd Monday of each month.

What is one piece of advice you would give a new Ham?

Join a local radio club, join the ARRL, Get on the air and make some contacts!
