GSARA Shines at Merrimack Winter Carnival

The Granite State Amateur Radio Association showcased the fascinating world of ham radio at the Merrimack Winter Carnival through a dynamic booth that captured the attention of visitors.

Club members demonstrated Morse code, inviting people of all ages to decode their names, while live contacts via HF radio allowed attendees to listen to conversations from around the world. The booth was bustling with activity as club members shared their passion and knowledge, creating a sense of community and camaraderie amidst the winter festivities.

Many members of the public were intrigued by the idea of obtaining their technician license and wished to experience the magic of ham radio for themselves.

We are excited to bring the fun back into Amateur Radio!
