Commences upon approval of the membership application by the Executive Board and the payment of dues. A full membership year is established as January 1 through December 31 of each year. Dues rates and privileges for each category are as stated below.
Category 1 - Full Membership - $15.00 per year Entitled to the full privileges of the Association.Accorded voting rights in accordance with the Association voting procedures. May hold elective office. Must be a current FCC licensed Radio Amateur and be in good standing with the Association.
Category 2 - Family Membership - $ 15.00 Primary Member - $ 5.00 for each additional family member All licensed Radio Amateurs in a single household paying dues under a family membership are considered full members and shall be accorded rights and privileges of full members. Any Member of a household paying the dues under a family membership who is NOT a licensed Radio Amateur shall be considered an unlicensed member.
Category 3 - Unlicensed Membership - $ 5.00 This membership category is primarily intended for those people not licensed but having an interest in Amateur Radio. Members in this category may participate in all meetings activities and bring matters up before the membership. Shall be accorded all privileges of the Association except the following:
May not vote. May not hold office. May not make or second a motions
Category 4 - Contributing Membership - $ 10.00 The category of Contributing Member shall be open to Radio Amateurs desiring to participate in Association activities but not in Association Management. Shall be accorded all privileges of the Association except the following:
May not hold office.May not vote May participate in all meetings and activities, bring matters up before the membership but may not make or second a motion. Other restrictions as prescribed in the By-Laws.
