Meeting held at the Bedford Safety Complex.

Dennis called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM.

Officer’s Reports

Treasurer, Lou (WA1HGE) reported GSARA has $896.36 in the bank. Two bills were recently paid: GoDaddy and the Post Office box rental. $165 was received in dues ($150 dues, plus $15 extra contribution).  A motion to approve was made by Mary (NE1F) and seconded by Stan (N1THL).

Secretary, Martin (K9AMG) read the minutes of the previous board meeting. Motion to approve was made by Lou (WA1HGE) and seconded by Mary (NE1F).

Stan (N1THL) was appointed as Property Trustee for 2010. Stan will update the GSARA property inventory and add a Kenwood TS440 which is currently with Bill Wagner. Charlie (K1CRF) has a GSARA sign which should be added to the inventory as well (value: $100.00).

Membership, Mary (NE1F) reported that we have 40 paid-up members. She continues to follow-up with people for past-due 2009 and now-due 2010 dues.

Committee Reports

Repeater: No formal report.

Programs: Stan has booked the Bedford Safety Complex for Board and General meetings thru March. The March General meeting has to be moved from 3/12 to 3/19 due to a scheduling conflict at the Safety Complex. We will remind members monthly as well as follow-up with an email update to ensure everyone is aware of the one-time change. Short-term agendas:

• ·         December: Yankee Swap
• ·         January: Soldering PL-259s (Charlie)
• ·         February: Martin will approach GMARES (K1RHM and K1AKS) to present

Web: Charlie will continue to help look at ways to refresh the GSARA web site. Suggestion made to follow-up with Lee Parmenter since he develops web-sites.

Contesting: Barry reported that contesting season has started! Barry will continue to send out emails to the membership about upcoming contests as well as recommending links to be added to the GSARA site.

VE Session: Next session is Saturday, December 5^th at 9:00 AM in the Bedford Safety Complex.

Old Business

Dennis will pick-up an ARRL publication and drinks for the Yankee Swap. Mary will bring goodies.

Any last minute changes to the CVRC dinner should be given to Charlie.

New Business

Lou would like to see a cost proposal for a battery back-up or generator for the GSARA repeater.
